If your broker's app doesn't show a CMR download button:

Option 1: Email your DP Email your broker's customer support from your registered email address, asking for your "Client Master Report / CMR." Include your client ID. Most brokers respond within 24–48 hours.

Option 2: CDSL Directly If your demat is with CDSL, you can request your CMR directly:

  • Go to myeasi.cdsl.com → Register/Login with your BO ID
  • Under Account Details → Request CMR

Option 3: NSDL Directly For NSDL accounts:

  • Go to eservices.nsdl.com → Log in → Account Statement → Download CMR

What Your CMR Should Show

When you upload to Polemarch, your CMR should clearly display:

  • ✅ Your full name (must match your PAN)
  • ✅ Your BO ID (16-digit for CDSL; 8+8 alphanumeric for NSDL)
  • ✅ Your registered address
  • ✅ Your PAN number
  • Date of issue (within last 3 months)

If any field is missing or blurred in the PDF, regenerate a fresh CMR.

Frequently asked

CMR stands for Client Master Report — a one-page PDF issued by your depository (CDSL or NSDL) via your broker. It contains your demat account details: BO ID (Beneficial Owner ID), your registered name, PAN, address, and bank account linked to the demat. Polemarch uses it to verify that the demat you've declared actually belongs to you and will receive the unlisted shares you buy.
